How to enter a digital meeting?

We have our digital meeting platform to Zoom. With Zoom you will be invited with a link, distributed to participants via e-mail. For some meetings also tap-only-phones can participate. But we recommed computers, tablets or smartphones with video/audio equipment.

Advises: To participants prior to a larger Zoom meeting

First time users: Follow the link you have got at least 10 minutes prior to the meeting, because you need some time to install a small application (program) first.

Other users: Follow the link at least 5 minutes prior to the meeting. Use your time to adjust the light, so we can see you clear. Make sure that audio is working. Adjust also your name, if the name that appear is not so informative.

To smaller meetings there is an open door via the link and the application into the meeting room, also long before the meeting is announced. During the meeting you can virtually raise your hand to speak, and mute your microphone in order not to disturb the meeting. Use the “gallery” view to watch all participants (as in the picture above). Open the chat function and participate also with chat.

Webinars on Zoom: There will be a waiting room outside the meeting room. When the meeting is on, you will all be allowed to enter the virtual meeting room. Your microphone is now muted but you can be invited to speak. Have the video open, you don’t enter a real meeting with your face covered, or? Open the chat function, where you can communicate with the hosts of the meeting. Try to adjust the screen view (top right) and find the mode, that suits you.
