Where are we with the booking platform? Live Discussion took place on 4th July

  • by

The lack of an inter-operator booking platforms has been identified as a major obstacle for cross-border rail transport, which also affects night trains. However, we have recently witnessed some movement on this issue in Brussels. What is going on?

Robin Loos who is working on Transport issues at BEUC (the European umbrella organisation for consumer issues) did accept our invitation to give Back-on-Track a short insight, where we actually stand creating such a platform, it took place on Tuesday 4th July, 2023.

In the first half an hour Juri Maier from German Back-on-Track asked Robin a couple of questions, so we could understand the issue, the interests involved and catch up what happened so far.

In the second half an hour the floor was open for questions. However, no summary and no video will be available.

But to assist will Robin Loos provide us with 3 links to papers of BEUC, which will be distributed here.
