We are always happy to welcome new volunteers! There are all kinds of different things you could work on as part of the network. You can get an impression through what we did in the past by browsing our website. This page, however, lists projects that we are currently working on and specifically need help with.
Most of these are tasks on the European level. You may as well join your local group and see what they are up to.
Database updates
Our open night train database is the most complete and up to date overview of night trains in Europe. It is also the basis for our night train map. Help us update it and find mistakes!
Target Network 2030
We plan to present to the new European Comission a serious proposal for a night train destination network that could be technically and politically implemented by 2030. Before that, a lot of research needs to be done!
Social Media
We’ve got a Europe wide working group on communications, taking care of online and offline media presence of the network. Specifically, our social media accounts could profit from your love and attention.
IT development
We are looking for programmers that can help us improving the web presentation of the night train map (JavaScript knowledge required), or maintain and improve the architecture of our open night train database.
Organise events
Make us more visible and famous by organising events, such as pyjama parties.
Write articles
Write articles for our website – anything related to night trains is welcome in our blog! Moreover, we plan to start a regular e-mail newsletter that you could write for.
