The timing was perfect. EU is working with the implementation of a Green Deal. The transport sector is one of the key elements, where CO2-reductions are needed – the sector is actually “out of control” with rising emissions, and no easy going solutions at hand.
But night trains are a “low-hanging fruit” to get started.
Based upon the Back-on-Track 5-point political action paper from November 2019 we arranged meetings in Brussels. They took place when a large cross country Back-on-Track delegation met both the ngo Transport & Environment, representatives from European Parliament (and the TRAN Committee), DG MOVE and Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER).

Reserve the days 15.th – 17.th of October in Brussels to a Back-on-Track conference to follow-up on the issues promoted in January.
